Xbox revealed this week that Xbox One owners will soon be able to stream Series X games through Game Pass and cloud streaming. That won't be a worry for last-gen console owners eager to play Forza 5, or any next-gen game on Xbox for that matter. Most notably PS5 exclusives Returnal and Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart. Six months on from the release of the Series X and PS5, some devs are starting to skip the last-gen entirely. Following the release of Cyberpunk 2077, the studio admitted it didn't focus as much attention on the last-gen version of the game compared to the same game on PC. That experience has clearly proved to be invaluable to Playground and Forza Horizon 5 during a time when the gaming world is transitioning from one generation to the next. "Having to support the Xbox One consoles is exactly the same amount of effort as it is to support a lower spec PC."
